Gregg Berhalter wasn't happy about being left off the World Cup roster.

In addition to announcing his 23-man World Cup roster, U.S. Manager Bruce Arena has also named 13 alternates to the squad.

After the official 23-man roster is submitted on May 15, a player may only be replaced on the roster as a result of an injury.

Prior to the 2002 World Cup, the U.S. twice had to make roster changes after both Chris Armas and his replacement Greg Vanney were ruled out through injury. Those injuries gave Pablo Mastroeni his opportunity to shine.
