DaMarcus Beasley in trouble with Dutch authorities

DaMarcus Beasley has been charged with drunken driving, following a January 16 traffic stop in the Netherlands. Beasley plays his club soccer for Dutch powerhouse PSV Eindhoven.

If convicted, Beasley could face a small fine and be banned from driving in the Netherlands.

This isn't the first time the 23-year-old Beasley has had a run-in with Dutch authorities.

In October, he reached an out-of-court settlement with the justice ministry after failing to declare several items at customs after returning from a trip to the United States.

Beasley has two years left on his contract with PSV. He has scored 10 goals in 56 Dutch league games and four goals in 12 appearances in the European Champions League.
