Dwayne De Rosario's impressive finishing earned him MLS Player of the Week honors for week six. De Rosario's Houston Dynamo erupted for four goals in their 4-3 victory over intrastate rival FC.
De Rosario led Dynamo to a thrilling victory with two goals including the game winner, tying him with teammate Brian Ching for the league lead in game winning goals (2).
De Rosario notched his first goal of the match in the 45th minute as he took a long pass from Ching, carried it into the penalty area and blasted a left-footed shot from 12 yards past FC Dallas goalkeeper Dario Sala. His second, the game clinching goal, came in the 67th minute when he received a pass from Brad Davis dribbled by Sala and curled the ball home just inside the far post. De Rosario has tallied three goals and four assists on the season.
